Transactions overview

Reading transactions and recording or reversing manual ones.

In Accounting → Accounting records, you find company income, outgoings, fees and reversals. The list helps you understand each transaction's origin and status.

The list

At the top, choose the view: All, Money in and Outgoings (and Reversals, when there are any). Use period, account, direction, reason, origin, status and payment method to find what you need. Columns show date, counterparty, account, operation, status and net amount.

When a row is linked, Transaction opens its subscription or client project and Counterparty opens the client or, for an expense payment, the supplier.

The accountant sees the same company transactions and exports the data with Download. What they can do beyond reading depends on the role: with the Accountant role, which has Documents and records on Edit, they can also record and reverse movements; without an assigned role they can only browse.

Bank reconciliation

Open Bank reconciliation from the button at the top to review matches. The number on the button counts rows needing attention; the button appears for people who can manage transactions.

When you open the page, Reneva checks that proposed matches are still valid. If a proposal is no longer valid, the row returns to manual matching. Confirmed matches remain unchanged.

Record movement

Use Record movement only for income or an outgoing payment that does not already start in another section. Enter direction, reason, account, amount and date. If you press Record movement twice, only one movement is saved.

Reverse movement

To correct a recorded transaction, use Reverse movement. Reneva creates the opposite transaction, with status Reversal, and keeps the original, which becomes Reversed.

For an Expense payment, reversal keeps the payment's date and value date, as Undo payment does on the expense. For other transactions, choose the date when the reversal occurred.

Exporting

From Download, choose the file needed for your check. The export uses the selected period unless its entry says otherwise. The Export CSV icon at the top instead downloads the rows you see in the list, with filters and search.

A recorded transaction represents an event that has already happened: enter the date the income or outgoing payment occurred.
