The Analysis page

Choose a period and explore data from each section.

Analysis reads company trends without confusing dashboard numbers with a period report. Choose the tab, the period at the top and, with Compare, the period to put beside it.

Overview

The first tab carries the year in its name ("Overview 2026"), chosen from the picker at the top and the same for all cards. It shows cash flow and activity for that year and, with the Timer, tracked hours. You can reorder and hide every widget and restore them with Add widget. Links from Subscriptions, Client projects and Expenses open their respective Analysis tab.

The company has a single currency: cash flow shows one chart and the flat-rate threshold estimate is always available.

Collections by payment method (in Overview and Cash) groups money received in the period by the method recorded on the payment, net of fees, reversals and refunds, with each row's share of the total.

Clients

Every client has a single row, in the company currency. If there are clients never archived with no activity for over a year, the description of Client movement says so and links to their list. From Add widget you find active clients by country, province, city, type, tag and user (the latter with more than one user); a client with several tags or users appears in each group.

These Current situation cards stay unchanged by the period and Compare and follow the Client type, Tag and User filters. How much I depend on my biggest clients shows the top five clients' share of active subscriptions for the filtered clients, with access to Subscriptions and an active module.

Other tabs

In this order: Overview, Cash, Documents, Subscriptions, Client projects, Expenses, Clients, Hours. Section tabs appear with the module active and your role's access. On tabs other than Overview the period applies to movements. Current situation cards show today's data instead, with the tab's filters. Compare puts the period next to the previous period, previous year or a chosen range. Future dates are not completed results.

Cash

It tells the story of subscriptions, client projects and expenses together with two measures of time that cannot be added up:

  • Cash — money in and out on the days chosen: the longer the period, the higher the total.
  • Recurring — what active subscriptions are worth per month and what fixed expenses cost per month: the value of one moment.

The Recurring margin is the difference between the two recurring figures, what is left every month before you work (subscriptions net, expenses gross): an estimate, not a tax margin.

With a subscriptions and client projects Category, Cash splits each collection across the lines of its document, or across the current line items when there is no document or it has no categories. A €1,000 collection on an invoice with €600 of Development and €400 of Design is worth €600 when you filter Development.

Documents

Quote outcomes, Proforma outcomes, Invoice statuses, Receipt statuses and Credit note statuses count documents in the period with the share of their type. Invoiced by category splits the period's invoiced amount, minus credit notes, across the categories of document lines, installments included: it is the Documents General overview table, limited to the period.

Subscriptions, Client projects and Expenses

In Subscriptions explore recurring movement, categories, archive reasons and Notices sent in the period, manual and automatic, also with Compare. In Client projects, the Client project pipeline measures the value of projects started in the period, not money already received. In Expenses read outflows by category, client or supplier.

Expenses archived by reason, Subscriptions archived by reason and Client projects archived by reason count archives during the period in their tabs, not payments. On each tab you reorder or remove cards and restore them from Add widget; filters concern that tab's source.

Current-situation widgets

Added from Add widget, they follow the filters and do not change with period or Compare. A row with several tags appears under each tag: those rows do not make a single total.

  • Subscriptions — Active fees by category (expected annual revenue on line items, with cost and margin if you can view costs), Collection (counts subscriptions), Totals by recurrence, subscriptions by payment method, client type, tag and user, Top clients by subscription; the other amounts are annual.
  • Client projects — status and collection (with drafts and completed projects) or value of active projects by category, client, client type, tag, user and payment method, net of discounts; by category also cost and margin.
  • Expenses — active expenses by category, client, supplier, recurrence, payment method and tag. Recurring amounts are monthly (except annual amounts by category and totals per period); one-off expenses and expenses by tag show the full amount.

Exporting

Export CSV, at the top right, on Cash, Subscriptions, Client projects, Expenses and Clients downloads the available readings for that source and period: recurring figures stay in Cash, the pipeline in Client projects, outflows in Expenses.

A client's statement is downloaded from their record: Situation, then Documents, Client statement next to Download, with documents from every year.

Reading a figure

A chart or tile can be empty when there is no data in the period. Open the linked section for the rows that make up the total.
