Taxes and contributions

Read Italian flat-rate income tax, contributions, balances and advances in Analysis.

In Analysis → Overview, the Taxes and contributions panel estimates payments to plan for in the following year. It follows the company and year in the top bar and appears for the Italian flat-rate regime when you can read all relevant receipts. If you see Partial estimate, check the detail; Complete the data opens the fields to review.

Estimated payments

The total includes the balance for the selected tax year and new advances for the following year; annual tax and contributions explain the accrued liability and are not added again. The estimate uses receipts recorded so far, without extrapolating future income.

Move, close and add the panel again like other widgets. Comparison with the previous year shows each year's own data: partial amounts remain —; if the previous annual profile is missing, a single message explains there is insufficient data. Receipt dates below the comparison identify the periods compared.

Update the data

The Profile tab has four selectors: substitute tax, profitability coefficient, type of activity (a professional registered with INPS Gestione Separata or a sole trader registered with INPS Traders) and tax advance split. They are not edited in company settings. Save the data confirms the selected year. Additional data has external receipts, paid contributions, advances and credits, each with a tooltip: enter 0 to confirm an amount is absent, because a blank field is not zero.

First configuration and new year

It starts with Select in all fields; without configuration there are no tax forecasts, but recorded receipts remain visible. When opening the new year, Reneva proposes the four values from the previous confirmed, compatible profile without saving them; additional amounts remain blank and must be completed before an estimate. Profiles and amounts are stored by year and editable by selecting that year: a change recalculates that year's estimate (balance and advances included) without rewriting other years, invoices or recorded payments.

Contributions, advances and credits

Deductible mandatory contributions are amounts actually paid during the year, not estimated. Advances must relate to the displayed year. Enter credits only when already assigned to the balance: Reneva does not offset them. If a credit changes the declarative base for the tax advance, also provide the verified LM42 amount from the return.

Data published by your accountant

When the accountant uses Publish to client, admins who can access the company receive a notification with the year, updated fields and a link to Analysis. In Complete the data you can consult the profile and amounts for the published year; use Ask your accountant for corrections. Accountant drafts do not change the estimate. When no writable tax access remains, you can edit the data again with your usual permissions.

How these amounts are calculated

The detail shows how receipts become flat-rate income, the deduction of paid contributions and income tax, then separates the balance from new advances. Both payment windows display their year and Dates to confirm, without inventing a due date.

The complete pension calculation covers a stable INPS Gestione Separata profile using 2026 parameters. Provisional 2027 advances use 2026 rates and ceilings until new rules are available. INPS Traders scheme can be selected but its contributions are not yet calculated: the estimate stays partial and Gestione Separata fields are hidden. The two schemes are never converted into one another.

Ask for help

Ask Ally opens the side chat with a draft of the current fields, without closing the window or sending messages; existing drafts and attachments remain. With an active accountant, Ask your accountant opens the normal new ticket with the year and current values (including unsaved ones) of Profile and Additional data: it is sent only when you submit it.

Data to complete

When data is missing or a calculation is unavailable, the total remains Partial estimate. The short notice points to the detail, which lists every reason: completing fields does not enable unsupported calculations.

Unclassified receipts, unidentified pension charges and missing exchange rates remain explicit: loans and transfers do not become revenue. Unclassified receipts stop blocking the estimate once you save the annual data after they were recorded; if they are revenue, first add them to Receipts outside Reneva.

Amounts are estimates, not a tax return or an F24; the detail keeps credits separate from payments.

Threshold alerts

They always arrive in the bell and by email, with no option to turn on, on actual receipts in the current year above €80,000, €85,000 (the limit above which you leave the flat-rate regime from next year) or €100,000, including external receipts confirmed in the annual data. Forecasts never trigger them; the €100,000 alert takes priority; each arrives once per year and person, even if you clear the bell.

Unclassified receipts and missing exchange rates stay out of the total but never stop the alert when certain receipts already exceed the threshold. Verify the consequences with your accountant: Reneva never changes the regime automatically.
