Timer

Use the Timer to log time. Projects keep related hours together and the Hours tab in Analysis summarizes them.

Timer

Choose a project and, if needed, a task. Start the timer and stop it when you finish. The session keeps its duration and Billable setting: this marks time as billable, not as already invoiced.

The projects

A project groups related hours and tasks. The value of hours uses the rate of its category, configured in Customizations.

• Projects for subscriptions and client projects collect work done for a client.
• Internal projects collect training and agency work. Create them in Internal projects with New project.

A Client project defines the agreed fee; the project logs the work done.

The Hours tab of Analysis

The Hours tab totals time by period, project and person. Use it to compare the work done with the value of subscriptions and client projects. Selection total includes the hours visible with the chosen filters.

The Timer, Internal projects and Hours require the Timer module in Modules and at least View permission in Companies and users.
