Status decides whether a subscription must keep renewing. Open the subscription card and use the Change status menu to choose the destination: Active, Pause, Draft or Archived.
The statuses
| Status | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Draft | you are preparing the subscription and it must not renew |
| Active | the subscription must follow its due dates |
| Paused | you want to temporarily stop renewals and notices |
| Archived | the subscription must not renew again |
Active
Open the subscription card and choose Active from the Change status menu: it puts a ready draft, a paused subscription or an archived one back to work, and the confirmation window already shows the next due date.
If the due date is today or still ahead, it stays unchanged; if it has passed, Reneva proposes the next date that fits the subscription's frequency. The same rule applies to the Resume from pause bulk action; "today" follows the company time zone.
Pause
Use Pause from the Change status menu to stop an active subscription without archiving it: until you choose Active again, due dates do not advance, the subscription's notices are not sent and no documents are created. You can add an optional note to remember why.
Reminders for invoices already issued and still to be collected do not stop: they depend on the document, not on the subscription. To stop them, open that document and choose Turn off reminders from More actions.
Draft
Use Draft from the Change status menu when you need to prepare the subscription again before activating it. The option is available only if the subscription has no invoiced or paid periods and no issued documents; to stop it temporarily, use Pause instead.
Archived
Use Archived from the Change status menu when the subscription must no longer renew. Enter the reason, so you can find it in filters and the archive.
Restoring
Open the archived subscription and choose Active from the Change status menu: it goes back to work and Reneva proposes the next due date, recalculated if the recorded one has passed.
Deleting
Use Delete only when the action is available and the subscription must not stay in history. To stop a subscription already in use, prefer Archived.
